The Global Fire VULCAN2-ASBI is a versatile addressable base sounder and beacon with integrated isolator, designed to provide both audible and visual fire alarm indication in a single compact unit. It is typically installed beneath a detector but can also be used as a standalone device, offering flexibility across a wide range of fire alarm installations.

Part of the Vulcan 2 range, the device can be configured in shadow or auxiliary modes, allowing it to either share an address with a detector or operate without using a dedicated address. This helps optimise loop capacity while still ensuring effective alarm coverage throughout the system.

The unit features adjustable tone, sound output and beacon operation, along with DIP switch addressing for easy installation. A built-in short-circuit isolator protects loop integrity, ensuring continued operation even in the event of a fault. Designed for professional fire detection systems, it delivers reliable performance in commercial and industrial environments.
